Good post…needs to be a ‘Sticky’.

Good post but I have to say that those half lives of esters have been shown to be quite wrong. The esters from that particular list were never actually tested and the numbers are based on some loose math by a guy named Bill Roberts. Bill Roberts never had any human testing done and the results… well he got those from his math and some petri dish solutions.

I wrote an article about this exact thing not too long ago… I have put it down below.

The math and scientific reasoning that Bill Roberts used was just dead wrong. All of his calculations were based on the ester itself, outside the body and no included compound. How the hell is that accurate at all?!

Well I continued my research and found that there has been real world testing of compound half lives, ester half lives and the half life of them after they have been combined in different combinations. I also learned that there is a big difference in the different classifications of half lives and those play an important role as well.

Classifications:

Biological effective half life: It is the time in which the pharmacological effect of the drug and its active metabolites falls by one half or 50%.

Elimination half life: It is the time in which the total amount of drug within the body, after equilibrium of plasma with other compartment (fat/muscle), falls by one half or 50%.

Plasma half life (t 1/2): It is the time in which the concentration of the drug in plasma fall by 50%.

So moving forward I found this list of half lives that have been tested on human beings, not just played with on paper with some bad math.

Esters

Propionate: 0.8 days
Acetate: 1 day
Phenylpropionate: 1.5 days
Isocaproate: 4 days
Enanthate: 4.5 days
Cypionate: 5 days
Decanoate: 7.5 days
Undecanoate: 20.9 days

I also found that exact compounds were tested and this list was produced…

Testosterone Phenylpropionate: 1.5 days
Testosterone Isocaproate: 4.0 days
Testosterone Enanthate: 4.5 days
Testosterone Cypionate: 5.0 days
Testosterone Decanoate: 7.5 days
Testosterone Undecanoate: 20.9 days
Trenbolone Acetate: 1.0 days
Trenbolone Enanthate: 4.5 days
Masteron Propionate: 0.8 days
Masteron Enanthate: 4.5 days
Nandrolone Phenylpropionate: 1.5 days
Nandrolone Decanoate: 7.5 days
Equipoise: 14.0 days
Primobolan Oral: 5 hours
Primobolan Injectable: 4.5 days
Halotestin: 7 hours
Anadrol: 14 hours
Dianabol: 5 hours
Turinabol: 16 hours
Winstrol Oral: 8 hours
Winstrol Injectable: 1.0 days
Anavar: 10 hours
Superdrol: 10 hours

It’s important to note that this is all baseline and each person is going to metabolize not only compounds but also their esters differently. You can better understand this with more research on the classifications of half lives.

#5

I’m lost, your list is the first one I’ve seen with let’s say, test E at 4.5 days

#6

This has been posted a couple of times.
I will pin it up in steroid profiles

#7

As with you everything else has a substantialy shorter Ester, most of the list from either of you dudes is not backed up by any scientific evidence

#8

I know it probably is. Most people have shared the same list that Raphael has for years. No offense to him but all too often this list just gets regurgitated over and over again. So often that most of us, including myself, came to believe it as the end all be all list. It just so happens to turn out to be almost entirely useless. The math and way that Bill Roberts went about accumulating this knowledge was not scientific or medically correct. It was just flawed math.

#10

And I know there is not much to evidence to back up either

#11

That’s also true. Aside from testing yourself and running bloods there is no way to really be 100% certain that you’re metabolizing the ester/compounds exactly as these lists state. That’s why I always pin short esters daily and long esters every 3.5 days. Then I can’t be wrong right lol

#12

Yes @Berserker I get it but wher is what you stated proof

#13

Yes @Bigmurph but where other solid proof

Behre HM, Nieschlag E. 1998 Comparative pharmacokinetics of testosterone esters. In: Nieschlag E, Behre HM, eds. Testosterone: Action, Deficiency, Substitution, ed 2. Berlin: Springer-Verlag; 329–348.

Those are my references.

This is the math used throughout the studies.

The formula used for calculating the rate of compound release at a given day t is:

λ * N(t)
Where λ is the decay constant equal to ln(2)/h, h being the half life of the compound given in days; and N(t) is the half-life equation given by:

N(t) = n * e^(-t/λ)
Where n is the original dose of the compound in mg and t is given in days.

Ok got it thanks

Will do

It really is Amazing even my Bayer testoviron says right In the pamphlet that you only get 185mg/ml from an amp
