In the early 2000’s, before the creation of social media, bodybuilding forums were the online place to be for finding new information on bodybuilding supplements, training, and steroids. Small communities formed that allowed people from all over the world to meet and share what they learned and ask questions to others.
This fueled the rise of underground steroid labs and gave people a way to discuss them before they made any purchases. While some were dangerous and scammers surfaced, many were ran by educated personnel that took the production of their product very seriously. The result grew the fitness and bodybuilding industry to where we see it today.
As social media developed such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, the younger generation took to social media to ask questions where it was often met with scammers and people with zero experience wanting fame and trying to make a buck selling programs. Steroid scammers flocked to social media with fake profiles selling unsafe fake products with no recourse and often getting arrested as social media companies assisted law enforcement with evidence to prosecute buyers.
More and more new bodybuilders turned to looking for a place to find training advice, ideas, and reviews for steroids online. Bodybuilding forums such as UGMuscle Bodybuilding have had members around for years trying and reviewing different sources of steroids, types, training routines from all over the world.
Forums give a place for bodybuilders to discuss new ideas, problems and share experiences about everything. You still need to be careful as some online forums are scams ran by or paid off by sources themselves to push a single online provider. Make sure that your forum has been around 5+ years and share a variety of ideas and sponsored by various businesses. Do they allow negative feedback and censor posts or do they allow open discussion and encourage safe practices. Such as testing steroids, regular bloodwork, and proper post cycle therapy protocols and hormone replacement therapy.
And old saying goes that you are who is around you. When you become part of a close community, you become part of a family with similar goals and hopes in you achieving your personal goals.
